Growing Tropical Plants
Growing tropical plants in our own greenhouses allows us to more closely control quality and offer a huge variety of products year-round. Our meticulously controlled production environment includes clean, safe, and modern greenhouses, responsible water management, and an integrated pest management program that drastically reduces chemical usage. Our experienced production teams are regarded as some of the best in the industry, and they take pride in every plant that leaves the greenhouse.
Facilities
From humble beginnings with one small truck and rented warehouse space, to multiple locations in Ontario and Quebec, Foliera has never stopped growing and investing in facilities and infrastructure. It all starts in our 500,000 square feet (46,460 square meters) of state-of-the-art greenhouses located in the heart of Niagara’s horticulture region. Rolling benches, flood floors, efficient heating, and water conservation systems all play a part in producing top-quality plants.
The commitment continues as our plants are prepared for delivery. Orders are prepared in our own warehouses and delivered using Foliera’s own fleet of trucks or trusted delivery partners. All this activity is overseen by dedicated teams in our Beamsville, Ontario and Anjou, Quebec offices.
Hard Goods
It’s not easy to improve on the natural beauty of our plants, but that’s exactly what our vast selection of containers can do! Foliera has a beautiful container for every plant we sell, in an almost limitless variety of styles, colours, sizes, and materials. Whether it’s classic clay and terra cotta, the timeless beauty of ceramic, or the newest sustainable metal containers made from recycled car parts, the choices are almost limitless. Foliera sources only the highest quality pots and accessories from around world including Germany, Italy, and India. Our in-house inventory and delivery network makes these value added options available to be delivered with any live plant order.
Delivery & Trucking
Foliera has invested in a fleet of safe, reliable, temperature-controlled trucks operated by our own professional drivers. In some areas we use other reliable carriers to deliver our products. In either case, the commitment to quality and customer service extends right to our customer’s receiving door.
